Servo motor repair
Repair procedure is a dynamical process that demands all round knowledge of how servo motor functions and how its parts contribute to its functionality.
Malfunction cause identification
On arrival, the servo motor undergoes a thorough visual inspection. We check the possibility of any materials break-in. After that decision is made whether we can run other tests before motor disassembly.
Feedback unit test
With usage of specialized tools we check the functioning of the feedback unit and the supposed generated signals.
Braking unit test
If the servo motor has a brake unit installed we check it’s functioning and stated torque.
Magnet test
The magnet test is done by use of an oscilloscope with which we check generated signals of electric phases U, V and W.
Winding electric tests
After all tests stated above we check the winding functioning by use of a specialized winding tester. If the motor coil is damaged we take care of the coil rewind.
Rotor balancing
If the rotor has sustained damage and the vibrations are present we take care of the rotor repair and dynamic balancing.
Housing sandblasting and detail cleaning of parts
We clean every servo motor housing with the use of a sandblasting machine. For internal parts cleaning in the repair process we use specialized cleaning fluids and tools.
Tolerance measurements of drive axis and bearing seats
After sandblasting and cleaning we measure the tolerances of bearing seats on drive end and non drive end flanges and axis bearing positions.
Impregnation of winding and rotor
We impregnate servo motor stator winding and magnet rotor with thixotropic impregnation agent in order to achieve longer service life.
Bearing and seal replacement
In every servo motor repair process we replace all bearings and seals. We install only quality bearings of world renowned manufacturers.

Power and signal connectors test
If the power or signal connectors are damaged or malfunctioning we make sure to replace it with new OEM parts.
Feedback unit alignment and programming
After the mechanical work is finished we take care of feedback unit alignment by manufacturers standard in regards to a communication protocol (Hiperface, EnDat, TTL, SSI, 1Vpp. Sin/Cos, etc.).
Servo motor test run
We run every servo motor before returning it to the customer production facility to make sure it runs according to factory specifications.
New servo motor painting
Every servo motor we get in our repair shop is repainted in OEM RAL after all the repairs and tests are done in order to make it function and look as good as new.
New ID and warning labels fabrication
We equip every servo motor with new ID and warning labels to make sure safety and identification standards are achieved.
Service report
During the servo motor repair process we document all gathered test data and measurements with the purpose of giving our clients as much information as possible about the state of their servo motor units.
